Dinner X Design (DXD)
Dinner by Design brings together internationally celebrated designers and local talent to create three-dimensional dining installations that awe, inspire and delight. These extraordinary dining environments — from the lavish and romantic to the outrageous and whimsical — set the stage for two days of fun and fascination.
Kalu Interiors was invited to be one of those designers. We wanted our concept to coincide with our IDS Interior Design Show Bar Feature which was "Down The Rabbit Hole". We wanted to bring to life the feeling of Wonderland and going into the unknown.
Our tablescape will take guests on a journey where nothing is as it seems...Inspired by the forest and eccentricity, thoughtful yet incompatible furnishings are paired with elegance to set the stage for what will be a Mad Dinner Party. Small nuances throughout the space hint to a whimsical world beyond where guests will get lost in the magic of our Wonderland.

Letterpress Bakery
The name "Letterpress" is inspired by the craftsmanship and tactility of letterpress printing - the commitment of obsessive attention to detail and the inherent yet beautiful imperfections created from artisanal techniques. As in letterpress printing, artisan baking required an unrushed process, creating something wholesome yet truly authentic. The process is as important as the end result, causing the maker's intimate involvement to shine through in each piece.
